Ceredigion and Mid Wales NHS Trust are delighted to announce that we have launched a new on-line recruitment service for candidates wishing to apply for jobs within our own Trust and the wider NHS. All our vacancies are now displayed on a site named NHS Jobs and over the coming months all Trusts in Wales will implement the service.
Candidates have the benefit of viewing a large number of NHS vacancies on one site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can create 'Jobs by Email' searches so that e-mail notifications can be sent to you when a suitable vacancy is advertised. You can view key job information for each vacancy and apply on-line immediately. Once you have completed an application you can re-use the form again and again, amending it as necessary. There is also peace of mind that your personal information will not be available during the shortlisting process.
In order to apply for a job you must have an e-mail account. If you do not have use of a home or work computer we have teamed with Ceredigion County Council's Library service whereby you can visit your local library in the Ceredigion area to use a computer and gain free internet access. For library locations and opening hours please visit the library website on www.ceredigion.gov.uk/libraries.
You can also visit Careers Wales Centres in Ceredigion to use a computer and gain free internet access. They have centres in Aberystwyth, Cardigan and Lampeter and suggest that making an appointment is advisable.
Job Centre Plus are also partners and all our vacancies will also automatically be advertised through Jobcentre Plus. Customers may receive help and advice with the application process and calculations of in-work benefits through their local jobcentre or via www.jobcentreplus.gov.uk.
The Trust is accepting paper copies until the end of March 2007.
As part of NHS Open week which runs from 5 to 9 March 2007 member of the Human Resources Team will be available at the following sites to advice on current vacancies and how to access NHS Jobs.
