It has been included in the Nursing Times Top 100 organisations for nurses to work for.
The Trust was one of only two Welsh trusts to be included in the first Top 100 awards in 2005/6 to celebrate 100 years of the Nursing Times. Again in 2006/7 the Trust has been recognized with inclusion in the Top 100. The Nursing Times reported that "staff at this trust enjoy its relatively small size where everybody knows everybody. They describe a friendly, caring atmosphere in which individuals feel they have an influence."
Chris Walsh, Deputy Director of Nursing, said that this is a tremendous achievement, as the accolade is from the Trust’s own nursing staff, validated via an external body and the results compared across the UK before the top 100 is formed.
