1st visit ok.
tried to go again but told last table available to book was for 4 people, we couldn't have it because we were only a couple. Balls to them then !!! attitude sucks

wow what an amazing place the staff are friendly and the food was delicous how can people critisis this place i go there at least 4 times a month. it used to be horrible but now under new management it is soring. I have gotten to know the manager Tom he is so kind and helpful my younger daugther is 13 and hates mushrooms, onions and leeks, i felt terrible when i asked but he said it was fine as all the food is cooked fresh. when i came out it looked amazing she cleared her plate and said she would love to come back. Having a family of 3 kids it is hard to find a decent place to eat but this is the place. all round apalses next time in aber go in but i advise to book here is the number 01970 625 707

The good reviews this place gets truly baffle me, so i feel compelled to counter them! I ate here several years ago and wasn't impressed but decided to give it another chance recently. There's no disguising rubbish food, and this is RUBBISH food. Really poor ingredients, strange flavours, and even stranger cooking techniques - what the hell are the "potatoes" they put with everything supposed to be? The staff have an attitude problem too. It honestly feels as though the whole place is above serving the customers with any decency. Cannot recommend the food to even a starved rat.

This is the best restaurant in aberystwyth my family and i are from the midlands but have our 2nd home, a caravan in nearby borth and we love this place, got to know the owner tom very well and always get a warm welcome, the food is always delicious and the staff friendly and helpful, if youre ever in aber give it a try!

Visited 29th Sept and had a lovely night. Service was not at its best but it was explained at the start of the meal that 2 staff had called in sick! All 4 of us were very impressed by the menu range and the quality of the food. Just one minor critism is the poor air conditioning in the upper room. It did get a little bit sweaty! Otherwise, very good!

My family and I visited this restaurant back in 2004 and the service and food was good then, especially the prawn cocktail and pizza. Am hoping to bring my Sicilian husband there next year to see if he reckons it's genuine Italian cooking!

Felt let down by the quality of the food, nice setting but thats where the quality ends, steak was bland and the garlic potatoes should be served with safety glasses as they were shattering as we tried to cut them.This is a restaurant that charges quailty food type prices but fails to deliver. Next day we had better food a Wetherspoons for a fraction of the price !

Disgusting! Food is vile, service is even worse, everything is an effort for the staff they forget that the customer is the hand that feeds them!

Without doubt the most romantic restaurant in Aberystwyth. Great food, good service and a romantic atmosphere. A great place for couples and friends alike.

wow what a let down!!, i have been here so many times before and it's always been top notch but i'm not going there again!! the starter was the only good thing out of the whole evening!! i ordered lasagne it only had one layer and was swimming in oil so thick i was nearly sick!! it just looked like they had run out of ready made lasagne and thrown it all together on the spot, the sirloin steak was dry as anything and the sauce that came with it was also really oily overall verdict out of ten = 0 not going there ever again and will not reccomend it to anyone
