As a local, I have eaten in the Shilam many times over the past few years. Since its opening, it quickly established itself as one of the most consistently good restaurants in Aber, and is easily the best Indian in town. The food has always been above average, service attentive and the staff friendly and accommodating. For one special occasion we commissioned an Indian Feast for 25 people - outstanding. Portions are generous. Prices might be slightly higher thna average, but reflect the quality of the food. It's worth it!

Excellent meal - restaurant very full with a couple of large parties but all the staff were very helpful and and attentive. The food was extremely good. The menu had a good choice of unusual dishes. Portions are very large so no need to over order !!!!

Easily the best Indian restaurant in town - its clean, the food is excellent and reasonably priced and the staff are very friendly. Highly recommended.
