Aber Car Parks
Aberystwyth Park & Ride is free for all, running every 15 minutes, Monday to Saturday, located towards the Police Station in Park Avenue. (Park & Ride Location Map)
The congested streets, especially during rush hour periods and the summer holidays can drive you mad, and looking for a parking space within the town, can be compared with looking for a needle in a haystack.
The local council provide a Park & Ride scheme free for all! So whether your visiting the hospital, working in town or just out for a days shopping, everyone can do their bit to ease congestion, by using the designated free car parks. You will also be a lot happier knowing you can park straight away, and be dropped off at many convenient bus stops throughout the town within minutes.

I recently visited Aberystwyth and the best thing about it was the road out. I approached the town from Herford and was immediatly face with a blizard of street signs saying 1hr parking only. I found a carpark which spaces I guess for 40cars!. On the sea front one side of the road was 1hr the other 4hrs! When I left the town to drive up the welsh coast I came to a park and ride. Why wasn't there a sign as you approach the town coming down a major road saying "Your car isn't welcome in our town please follow the park and ride signs"
