'Britannia Depicta' is an early road atlas of England & Wales, published by John Owen in 1720 using engravings by Emanuel Bowen. I beleave this to be from the fourth edition published in 1736.

Aberistwith i.e. Ostium fluminis Ystwith So called from its s cituation on Ystwith fluvius, near it's confluence with the Oceans was formerly fortified with Wall and Castle, by Gilbert Clare, Ld of Cardigan temp Hen I miR The town is at present indifferent large and well inhabited, and the Corporation consists of a Mayor, Recorder & c. It drives a good Fishing Trade. The Mt is on Monday for Corn, Wools & c, & Ye Fairs on Monday before Easter day & Dec 18th -
