Queens Road Bowling Club was formed in 1954, and now has two bowling greens comprising of twelve rinks in total, with a newly built state of the art bowls pavilion, with showers, changing rooms and catering facilities. Car parking is also available.
There are eight tennis courts next to Queens Road Bowling Club and these are also available for public use. Two of the courts are floodlit and bookings can be made for bowls and tennis. We are keen to welcome all bowlers and other clubs to our facility in Aberystwyth and invite enquiries from touring teams or groups to enjoy bowls and tennis.
New members are welcome! and a coaching scheme with qualified coaches are available.
Lawn Bowls
Lawn Bowls is an outdoor sport usually played on rolled grass or synthetic lawn in singles or teams of two, three or four other variations of bowls include bocce, boule, indoor bowls, short mat bowls and carpet bowls.
