Had great fun here from 1977 to 1982. My school has a cottage Nr Devils Bridge and I visited quite regularly. We used to spend most of our time in the National Milk Bar or the ammusement arcade, but did a little culture too, up at the castle. I loved the midnight walks and swimming in the Blue Lagoon in Hafren Forest, but the ice cold milk (Kept cold in the nearby stream) on our Corn Flakes, was most peoples favourite. Finally, I must say that Welsh girls have the sexiest accents!!!

My grandmother was born on Greenfield St., and my great uncle was the mayor there in the 60's. I have been there in 1967, 1990, 1997, and maybe again next year. I love it there and have considered even moving there if I found a job. One can dream...

It must have been 1975 when we were in Aberystwyth - just here on the Promenade. Nice to see this again with this webcam...

It is nice to watch the waves when it is stormy along the prom. It is great to have a picknick where the Castle is...I like the ladies from Ystwyth Bookshop - very friendly...also the French woman who works in the Tourist Office, very friendly....A good place to meet people. Every year Aberystwyth is different because people come and go, also shops open and close!! Richard Lloyds hairdresser's - a fantastic team!!! Heather, James, David, Richard - diolch!!!

I left Aber nearly 3 years ago now, and on a glum day when life is getting me down I look at the webcams of home and see what weather my mam is having! And think of home…here!
